The Delek Fund for Hope was established in an effort to support charities in the communities where our customers live and work. Proceeds from the annual tournament enhance our corporate family’s charitable involvement.
The Delek Fund for Hope is a component fund of The Community Foundation of Middle Tennessee, a 501 (c) 3 not-for-profit organization that oversees more than 700 charitable funds. Charities
The Delek Fund for Hope has selected the following charities based upon need and focus of their programs. Below is a list of the participating charities.
American Red Cross
For over 90 years, The American Red Cross has been helping people prevent, prepare for and cope with disasters and other life threatening emergencies. Support the American Red Cross Chapters in Smith County Texas and Middle Tennessee, and change a life, starting with your own.
Arthritis Foundation
The mission of the Arthritis Foundation is to improve lives through leadership in the prevention, control and cure of arthritis and related diseases. Arthritis Foundation efforts center on the three-fold mission of the organization: research, prevention and quality of life. Since 1948, the Arthritis Foundation has funded more than 2,200 researchers with grants totaling over $400 million to help find a cure, prevention or better treatment for arthritis.
Habitat for Humanity
Habitat for Humanity of Smith County seeks to eliminate poverty housing and homelessness in East Texas, and to make decent shelter a matter of conscience and action. Established in 1989 as an all-volunteer organization, Habitat has built over 80 family homes, giving more than 92 adults and 176 children a safe, quality place to call home.
The Make-A-Wish® Foundation
The Make-A-Wish® Foundation of Middle Tennessee grants wishes of children with life-threatening medical conditions to enrich the human experience with hope, strength, and joy. The Middle Tennessee Chapter of the Make-A-Wish® Foundation is the youngest Make-a-Wish Chapter in the country and has granted more than 600 wishes in Middle Tennessee since the chapter was founded in 2000.
March of Dimes
The March of Dimes is the leading nonprofit organization for pregnancy and baby health. We’re dedicated to improving the health of babies by preventing birth defects, premature birth and infant mortality.
Tennessee Firefighters Burn Foundation
The Tennessee Firefighters Burn Foundation, Inc. was established in 2002 by members and friends of the Nashville and Franklin Fire Departments. The primary objective of the Foundation is to assist burn survivors in their recovery and to support burn units and medical facilities that provide care for burn victims. The foundation operates and provides funding for Camp Phoenix, a summer camp experience for adolescent burn survivors.
Tennessee Voices for Children
Tennessee Voices for Children (TVC) is a statewide, non-profit organization recognized at state and national levels as a leading advocacy organization for the development of family driven children’s mental health policies and services. TVC speaks out as active advocates for the emotional and behavioral well-being of children and their families.
